Another amazing feature of Super Mario Party is that it has the largest roster of playable characters. You will surely get to know each character be it the hero, the villain, or side characters. Among them are Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, Wario, Waluigi, Donkey Kong, Koopa Troopa, Hammer Bro, Dry Bones, Shy Guy, Boo, Bowser, Diddy Kong, and Bowser Jr.

What are the minigames included in Super Mario Party?

There are a total of 84 minigames that can be classified into 4-player, 2 vs. 2, 1 vs. 3, co-op, team, rhythm minigames, and Toad’s Rec Room. Each player needs one JoyCon to play and join the competition. Now, let’s take a look at some of the minigames you can enjoy with your friends and family.

Candy Shakedown

Players are in a blue room and they are given a bottle with candy. Players must shake their JoyCons to get all the candy out. First to empty the bottle wins!

Rumble Fishing

Dash & Dine is a 2 vs. 2 minigame that is set in a restaurant. Each team should pick up the ingredients requested to earn a point each. The trick here is to be careful of Toad walking around which blocks your path and slows you down. The team with more points after the one-minute timer wins!

Smash & Crab

Smash & Crab is under the 1 vs. 3 minigames category. It’s a pun on “Smash and Grab.” The solo player is standing on a pier, while the team players are inside a giant robotic crab. While one team player moves the robot, the other two control their respective hammers to crush the solo player. If the solo player manages to evade the attacks to crush him and stay standing for 30 seconds, the solo player wins; otherwise, if a hammer hits the solo player, the team players win.

Penguin Pushers

This is a personal favorite! It’s a co-op mini-game set in an icy place. The goal is to work together to bring the baby penguins to the bottom center of the arena where the mother penguin is. You must trick them into running through the crack on the corner. The game ends once you’ve corralled all the baby penguins.

There are so many crowd favorite mini-games on Super Mario Party for Nintendo Switch! Before playing, make sure you have enough JoyCons for you and your guests. Gamory offers different JoyCon color pairs such as Neon Purple & Orange, Blue & Neon Yellow, and Neon Green & Pink.
