STRAY is a single-player game developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive. It is set to be available for play on PC, PS4, and PS5. It’s a cyberpunk adorable adventure game. Stray follows the story about a stray cat who ends up in a world inhabited by robots, machines, and viruses, as he goes into a journey to return back to his family.
The player is accompanied by a translating robot called B12, and they must solve puzzles and obstacles to progress through the game. The game has open world elements focused mainly on art, exploration, and atmosphere.
Stray’s setting was heavily influenced by the Kowloon Walled City while the gameplay experience was mostly based on Murtaugh and Riggs, the founder’s cats. The game utilizes Unreal Engine 4.
Although it’s taking some time, Stray is still absolutely something Sony fans would have to wait for this year.
