I never leave reviews but I was a bit nervous buying this product so I figured I’d leave one in case others are on the same boat. I accidentally wore down my boyfriend’s left joystick playing Tony Hawk Pro 1+2, like the whole outer ring came off and everything. I was worried I’d have to buy a whole new joystick but I decided to give this product a go and it was so easy and restored the joystick back to new. The only fiddly bit was peeling the previous padding off the joystick but I was able to get my nails under it and eventually peel it off. I was worried about slipping since these pads don’t have the same little grooves that the originals have, but it’s completely stayed in place. The pack comes with 6 of them and I can’t ever imagine needing the other 5, so that’s a bit annoying, but I guess it’s good to have backups.

Amazing! after install and calibration both sticks felt more precise especially near centre stick.
Install was fairly strait forward for my skill level and I actually enjoyed the process.
If youve never soldered before do not try this. You definately need some soldering experience.

The Skull & Co. Front Cover for ROG Ally X GripCase is a great addition! It fits perfectly and adds an extra layer of protection without being bulky. The neon green colour looks awesome and stands out in the best way. Easy to snap on and take off, and it doesn’t interfere with the grip or comfort. Definitely a solid buy if you want to keep your Ally X

The Grip is a snug fit. Feels good. Easy to use. Works as a stand as well. Value for money. The case is well designed. Minimalistic, ample protection. However can’t fit anything like charger in there. Maybe few SD cards and a slim cabel.
Absolutely fantastic product.
No lag, in my view , better than the PS3 controller using a PS5 controller.
I would only suggest that if it doesn't work in USB port #1, use port #2, as mine wouldn't work in #1.
Even charges the controller using the PS5 cable.
Brilliant
